Privacy policy

Last updated 23 August 2026 · Applies to Sightline for Android, version 1.0.0 and later

Sightline collects no data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers of ours for it to talk to. Everything you record in the app is written to your own device and stays there unless you deliberately export it.

What we collect

Nothing. Djeango Tech does not collect, receive, transmit, store, sell or share any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location data or diagnostics from Sightline.

We do not operate a backend for this app. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no synchronisation. We have no way to see what you photograph, what firearms or ammunition you record, where you shoot, or how often you use the app.

What stays on your device

Sightline stores the following locally, in the app's private storage on your phone:

This data is under your control. Deleting the app removes it. We never receive a copy.

Permissions, and why each one exists

PermissionWhy Sightline requests it
CameraTo photograph paper targets for analysis, and to scan barcodes when recording ammunition. Images are processed on your device and saved to app storage. They are never uploaded.
Photos and filesTo import an existing target photograph from your gallery, and to save exports you create.
VibrationHaptic feedback when marking hits.
Internet and network statePresent because of the framework Sightline is built with. The app functions fully offline and does not send your data anywhere.

Exports you choose to create

Sightline can export your log as a CSV file or a formatted PDF report. Those files are created on your device and handed to whichever app you choose to share them with. Once you share a file, it is governed by the privacy policy of the app or service you sent it to, not by this one.

Third parties

Sightline contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no social media integrations. No third party receives data from this app.

Payment

Sightline is a paid app purchased through Google Play. Google handles the transaction and we never see your payment details. Google's own privacy policy governs that purchase.

Children

Sightline is intended for adults, is rated for users aged 18 and over, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information at all.

Your rights

Data protection regulations, including the GDPR and the CCPA, give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose or erase. Your Sightline data lives on your device, where you can view, edit, export or delete it directly at any time.

Security

Because your data never leaves your device, its security is the security of your phone. We recommend keeping a screen lock enabled and your operating system up to date. Exported files leave the app's protected storage, so treat them as you would any other document.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Sightline ever changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. Any change that introduced data collection would also be reflected in the app's Google Play data safety disclosure.
