Privacy Policy
Djeango Tech is a small studio, and this policy is written the way we write everything: plainly. It covers our website (djeango.com), our digital guides, our email list, and our mobile apps. The short version: we collect what each product needs to work, we tell you exactly what that is below, and we never sell your personal information.
The website
djeango.com is a static site. We do not run advertising trackers or social media pixels on it. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability, as almost every website host does.
LaunchPad
LaunchPad is our preparation app for people getting ready to enlist. Here is exactly what it does with your data:
Your account
LaunchPad requires an account, created with your email address and a password. The account exists so your progress is saved securely and follows you if you change devices.
What we collect and store
- Your email address, for sign-in and account management.
- Your fitness entries, ASVAB practice results, and checklist progress, so the app can track them and sync them across your devices.
- Photos and other content you choose to submit inside the app.
This data is stored on our cloud infrastructure (hosted on Supabase) and is encrypted in transit. We use it only to make the app work for you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Ads
LaunchPad is free and shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects device information including your device's advertising ID, and that information is shared with Google and handled under Google's privacy policy and Google's advertising disclosures. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android privacy settings, which limits ad personalization.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems. If anything ever fails in that flow, email us and we will delete it manually.
Sightline
Sightline, our range companion app, is in closed beta. Before it releases publicly, this policy and its store listing will state its data practices in full.
The email list
If you sign up for a free guide or our newsletter, we collect your email address through Kit, our email platform, with double opt-in. We use it to deliver what you asked for and occasional useful emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately. We never sell the list.
Purchases
Our digital guides are sold through Gumroad. Gumroad processes payment and shares with us the information needed to deliver your purchase, such as your email address. We never see or store your full payment card details. Gumroad's handling of your data is covered by Gumroad's privacy policy.
Email you send us
If you email contact@djeango.com, we keep the correspondence so we can help you. We do not add you to any list because you emailed us.
Children
Our website, guides, and apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created a LaunchPad account, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can browse our site without providing any personal information, unsubscribe from email at any time, delete your LaunchPad account and its data from inside the app, and limit ad personalization through your device's advertising ID settings. For anything else, email us and a real person will handle it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If an app update changes how an app handles your data, we will update this policy and the app's store listing before that change ships.
