Privacy Policy
Djeango Tech is a small studio, and this policy is written the way we write everything: plainly. It covers our website (djeango.com), our digital guides, our email list, our mobile apps, and inquiries about our services. The short version: we collect what each product needs to work, we tell you exactly what that is below, and we never sell your personal information.
Two things live elsewhere and have their own policies: Google Play (which handles app purchases) and Gumroad (which handles guide purchases). Where they apply, we say so below.
The website
djeango.com is a static site. We run no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no social media pixels on it, and we set no cookies of our own. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so a page view here does not call out to a third party. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability, as almost every website host does. If we ever add analytics, we will say so here on the day it happens.
LaunchPad
LaunchPad is our preparation app for people getting ready to enlist. Here is exactly what it does with your data:
Your account
LaunchPad requires an account, created with your email address and a password. The account exists so your progress is saved securely and follows you if you change devices.
What we collect and store
- Your email address, for sign-in and account management.
- Your fitness entries, ASVAB practice results, and checklist progress, so the app can track them and sync them across your devices.
- Photos and other content you choose to submit inside the app.
This data is stored on our cloud infrastructure (hosted on Supabase) and is encrypted in transit. We use it only to make the app work for you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Ads
LaunchPad is free and shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects device information including your device's advertising ID, and that information is shared with Google and handled under Google's privacy policy and Google's advertising disclosures. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android privacy settings, which limits ad personalization.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems. If anything ever fails in that flow, email us and we will delete it manually.
Sightline
Sightline, our range companion app, collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you enter stays on your device, and exports (CSV and PDF) go only where you send them. Uninstalling the app removes its data. The full app policy, which is also the one linked from Google Play, is at djeango.com/privacy/sightline/.
App purchases
Paid apps are sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; we never see your card details. Google Play shows us aggregate statistics (installs, crashes, ratings) and nothing that identifies you unless you contact us yourself.
Service inquiries
Our marketing services are scoped by written proposal. If you email us a project inquiry, we keep what you told us (your business details, your goals, and your contact information) so we can review it and reply with a proposal. We use it for that inquiry and for the work if you become a client, and for nothing else. Sending an inquiry does not add you to any marketing list.
The email list
If you sign up for a free guide or our occasional field notes, we collect your email address through Kit, our email platform, with double opt-in. We use it to deliver what you asked for and occasional useful emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately. We never sell the list.
Guide purchases
Our digital guides are sold through Gumroad. Gumroad processes payment and shares with us the information needed to deliver your purchase, such as your email address. We never see or store your full payment card details. Gumroad's handling of your data is covered by Gumroad's privacy policy.
Email you send us
If you email it@djeango.com, we keep the correspondence so we can help you. We do not add you to any list because you emailed us.
How long we keep things
- LaunchPad account data: until you delete the account.
- Sightline: nothing is collected, so nothing is kept.
- Email correspondence and support threads: as long as needed to help you, then deleted in the normal course of housekeeping.
- Service inquiries and proposals: 24 months from the last contact.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Children
Our website, guides, and apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created a LaunchPad account, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can browse our site without providing any personal information, unsubscribe from email at any time, delete your LaunchPad account and its data from inside the app, and limit ad personalization through your device's advertising ID settings. To see, correct, or delete anything else we hold about you, email us; we act within 30 days. If you are in a region with specific privacy rights, those rights apply and the same address handles them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. If an app update changes how an app handles your data, we will update this policy and the app's store listing before that change ships.
